We had a good Memorial Day this year. It started with a Pancake Breakfast our ward put on. I'm on the Activities Committee
so I was at the church bright and early, Jon and Benjamin came later-just for the food. We had a pancake eating contest which was fun to watch and then I got to help paint stars, flags, and hearts on the children's faces. I put a flag on Ben's face, lets just say that when I got home from cleaning up, the flag was gone. Ben enjoyed it, but I don't this dad did. Later, we had a little BBQ at our house with some of Jon's classmates and their families. It was a nice time to get to spend time together as a family without Jon having to go off to school.
