Andrew is growing quickly. He is becoming such a big boy. He's barely 10 months and we are almost in 18 months clothes. His pajamas seem to be fitting him quiet snug, I'm just not sure if it's his length or his weight that makes them snug. He's got such cute rolls. I don't remember Benjamin being this chunky. He has learned how to crawl up the stairs, and does quiet well without supervision. But he gets very excited when he sees someone watching him and looses his balance a little. We just need him to learn how to go down. He has eight teeth now, and has for awhile. He seems to be working on a molar, but I can't see it cutting through yet, it just looks a little swollen on the upper right side of his gum. He's pulling himself up and cruising along the furniture. He has even attempted to try and stand on his own a few times. He loves to be outside, especially when Ben is outside, so he will stand at the window watching Ben until I let him go out.
At the beginning of August Jon's Dad's side of the family was celebrating his Grandpa's 90th birthday. Jon's Uncle Steve has a Ranch about 4 hours from here, so we hoped in the car and drove out for the 2 day celebration. We arrived on the Friday night. Saturday we spent time visiting, driving around the Ranch, going out to dinner, and having cake and presents for his Grandpa. Jon's family included: Uncle Steve and Aunt Jeane, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Lori, Aunt Becky, Dad and Carolyn and Nick, and his sister Genny with Murilo and Sabrina. We were able to get another four generation photo. Benjamin and Sabrina played well together. We tried to get a picture of the two, but they weren't cooperating so we did the best we could with what was given us.
And last but not least. After having her for 11 years. Working hard to pay for her. Treating her with as much respect as I could even though she did end up with a few bumps and bruises along the way. She gave us her best, but it was time to let go. We finally got sold my 1996 Mazda Protege. My first car. When CarMax handed me that $500 check I didn't know what to feel. If this had happened 5 years ago, there may have been tears, but with all the problems we were having, it was just best to move on. We did replace her with a 2011 Camry. So we didn't stray too far from difference. It is a standard, white, and beige interior. It's been fun having a new car. We'll see if the Camry can last us 11 years.
