6 Months

Andrew turned 6 months recently. It's hard to believe how the time is flying and how big he is getting. We had his check-up earlier this week. He weighed in at 17lbs. and was 27.5in. long. He is learning how to sit up of on his own, once he has been positioned there. He is rolling around constantly. We have had to watch him to make sure he doesn't get too close to the tile or he'll bang his head on the floor. He also gets stuck in certain spots. I have found him under Benjamin's train table, with a leg under the couch or ottoman, and even both legs under our DVD cases. He's talking a lot and also squeals loudly (we'll have to correct that when he gets older). He is able to fall asleep on his own and sleeps through the night, usually 12 hours. This makes it easier for me to get sleep before Seminary. He is very ticklish. Whenever we try to dress or undress him he giggles and squeals as our fingers softly touch him near his armpits. He loves eating solids and seems willing to eat whatever we give him. He also reaches for all the toys that he wants to play with and can hold his Binky to try and put it back in his mouth. He's starting to try and get into the crawling position. Jon and I go on vacation in a couple weeks, I hope he either does it before we go or after we get home. And last but not least he is pushing a third tooth through, his first top tooth. It's fun to watch him grow, but so sad at that same time. We love having him in our family.
