Fiesta

Here in San Antonio from April 14-25 they celebrate Fiesta. I'm not sure of the full reasoning, but it has something to do with the defeat at the
Alamo. Jon was on call so I looked up to see if there were any activities geared towards children. They had a little festival for Ninos. There was a parade, and carnival rides. Benjamin rode the airplane, a little train, and the
Ferris Wheel, which was more like a cage. He got to tour the firetruck. A fireman showed him all the things he used, a helmet, and let him sit in the driver seat for awhile. There were several bouncy slides and jump houses that he did, which eventually wore him out. He also tried his hand at mini-golf. He got a hole in one on the first hole, but it was down hill from there. I tried to show him how to hold the club correctly, but he refused my help. He did well listening to me when it was time to leave, so we left with cotton candy in hand. He said he had fun. We might try it again next year, we'll see if Jon will be working or not.
