We arrived to New York Sunday evening. We were staying in New Jersey so we decided to drive over the Manhattan for a quick drive to see what it was like and what we might want to explore in greater detail on other days. CRAZY!
It took awhile to get over to Manhattan because there's only 2 lanes. But we managed fine and drove up and down some streets while Benjamin kept saying, "Whoa!" and "Oh my" and "Plane." We were up near Central Park when Jon said that we should head back because we were low on gas. So we started to head back, meanwhile looking for a gas station. I don't think they exist over there. We'll Jon was getting nervous. We turned the AC off to help save on
gas and barley rolled down the windows due to fear of what could happen. The gas light came on and Jon got even more nervous. We finally go to the "area" we needed to be in to get to the other side of the river. It took us probably 45 minutes to go maybe 5 miles. We made over to Jersey with enough gas to spare, according to the car manuel. That night was also a little rough trying to get Benjamin to sleep and keep him asleep. The pictures are of our hotel and the view from the hotel.
